Deputy Chief Kenton Oliver

D/Chief Kenton Oliver Oliver has served the Leland Grove Police Department since June 2006.

D/Chief Oliver started his law enforcement journey in 1994 as an Auxiliary Deputy with the Sangamon County Sheriff’s Department. In June of 2006 Sgt. Oliver was selected as a Part-Time Officer for the Leland Grove Police Department. In October of that year D/Chief Oliver was promoted to full time status where he has risen to his current rank.

D/Chief Oliver has held or currently holds the following certifications: Firearms Instructor, Field Training Officer/Supervisor, Fleet Maintenance Officer, PBT Technician, Juvenile Officer, Taser Instructor, and Bike Patrol Officer.
